Help Matt Z beat Cancer
No one expects to be diagnosed with cancer at 41. Especially cancer as serious as pancreatic cancer. I know how bad this disease is because I watched it kill my dad 9 years ago. Unlike my dad, I have a fighting chance but will be without income for the next several months.
Luckily, my cancer was discovered early after an ECRP to remove a blockage in my main bile duct.
Unfortunately (or fortunately...depends on how you look at it), due to my age and my health, my oncologist is going to be hitting me with a really strong round of chemo prior to a Whipple release surgery.
Due to the strength of the chemo, I will be unable to work for the next 4-6 months. Originally, I had supplemental cancer insurance, which would have covered my living expenses, but my cancer was found within their 30-day waiting period, so I am not covered.
I'm looking for assistance with my day-to-day costs for the next several months.
