Hi everyone,

I am reaching out asking for support for my brother Matt O'Rourke. On May 18th, Matt was involved in a serious dirt bike crash where he was MedFlighted to Tufts Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Matt spent several days intubated while he underwent a handful of surgeries reconstructing his femur, knee, tibia, fibia, wrist, thumb, shoulder, and neck. He spent a week in the hospital and has been at Northeast Rehab working hard to regain mobility from nerve damage and many fractures held together by screws, rods, and plates.

Matt feels incredibly lucky to be alive and while he's already made progress, he knows that the road ahead will be long and challenging. He is 26, recently bought a house and will be unable to work through months of rehabilitation, physical therapy, in-home care, and with ongoing medical bills.

We are asking for help covering Matt's medical costs and to ease the burden of monthly expenses while he focuses on his recovery. We are grateful for any support you can provide, whether it be by donation or sharing, as Matt works towards getting back on his feet.
