Help Matt Taylor in the fight against cancer
Donation protected
Humboldt county and beyond… Let’s give back to a family who has given so much to others over the years. The Taylor family is always willing to help others out in times of need and now it is our turn to help them.
Matt started not feeling well about 5 weeks ago. On his third trip to the emergency room on August 14th, they discovered Matt has cancer. This lead to his diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer. Let’s join in and help Matt, his wife Brandy, and their 3 boys fight this cancer. When my family had a medical emergency, the Taylors were some of our biggest supporters, even helping with a fundraiser to help in our time of need. The Taylors are not ones to ask for help, but I know first hand how expensive this is going to be. Join me in helping them to lessen their worries so that they can focus on beating this cancer.
Matt has worked at Recology of Humboldt for 16 years. He will be unable to work while going through his treatments and we all know how hard this will be for him, as he is someone who never calls in sick. He has taught his three boys to be very hard-workers. They are out mowing lawns most weekends. Matt is a great dad and is his boys’ number one fan and supporter. Many of you know that he can often be found at the flat track cheering them on during their races.
Matt will begin his Chemo treatments on September 13th and the plan right now is to continue those every two weeks throughout the rest of the year. He will also be having radiation and immunotherapy. Insurance only goes so far. No amount is too small. If you are unable to donate that is ok. Please share to your social media page and keep Matt, Brandy, Trevor, Brody and Jax in your thoughts and prayers while they go into battle.
