Hi, my name is Corneille; I am fundraising for a friend. I have known Matt for about 40 years, he worked with me in Florida and was one of my most reliable employees in my dive store... Matt more recently worked construction, and last Fall (2021) fell from a 2 1/2 story building. He broke his spine in several places, which left him paralyzed. Matt was in ICU and unconscious for 40 days, but thanks God that he is still alive today to tell his story. He has been in a rehabilitation nursing facility since September.

Matt hopes to leave the hospital soon but needs our support. As he begins to build his new life, he will need to secure wheelchair-accessible housing, a mobilized wheelchair, a hospital-style bed, ongoing physical therapy and other necessities.
