Help Matt Share Inclusion at 2019 Boston Marathon

Donation protected
myTEAM TRIUMPH started in 2008 with a mission to "enhance the health and well being of individuals with disabilities by fostering lasting, authentic relationships through the teamwork environment of endurance athletics.”.

One of the first Captains to race with myTEAM TRIUMPH was a young 11-year old boy named Matt Smith. Matt is one of triplets. He was born with cerebral palsy and spends a fair amount of his time in a wheelchair. However this did not detract from his lust for life and adventure. He dedicated his youth to the Boy Scouts of America was eventually able to earn his Eagle Scout honors. He became a regular Captain on our race schedule and has competed in over 30 races with his Angels. During one of those races, Matt expressed a desire to participate in the Boston Marathon as that was a dream of his but neither the timing nor the resources lined up to make that possible.

That's until now! A few weeks ago, we were made aware of an opportunity to take Matt to the 2019 Boston Marathon Expo to represent myTEAM TRIUMPH at a national level. Here he will be able to share his dream of inclusion. This would also create an opportunity for Matt to launch a campaign to participate in the 2020 Boston Marathon. His dream could finally become a reality!

We are asking for your help to allow MATT SPREAD INCLUSION AT THE 2019 BOSTON MARATHON! Funds raised will cover airfare for him and a caregiver ($1,000) & hotel for 5 nights ($3,000). Thank you for funding the dream!
