This page has been created for a young man named Matt, who with only a used electric bike, a small trailer, some donated tools, and a strong desire to help those in need, started a non-profit named Mission: Yardwork. Matt used his bike and tools to travel between Greeley and Eaton to do yard work for those in need of help. While working hard to accomplish his goal, his mission has currently come to an abrupt halt due to an unfortunate accident.
On Wednesday night (10/15/2025), while leaving Eaton and heading home to Greeley, he was biking down CR37 when he was rear-ended by a guy on a motorcycle. The episode totaled both the bike and the trailer as well as his tools, sent Matt to the hospital to be checked out (he's alright), and has stopped his mission to help others. The driver on the motorcycle did not stop, but fortunately, the Eaton police are investigating and prayerfully, we hope the culprit is found.
Your donations will go straight to Matt to help pay for his medical bills and hopefully to purchase new tools, a new trailer, and maybe even a small used pickup truck instead of an electric bike so he can continue to assist those who need his help.
"Mission: Yardwork supports our community by offering free or affordable yard care services to low-income families, seniors, disabled neighbors, and solo parents. Our goal is to deliver compassion, trust, and quality with every yard we serve."
