On February 15, 2025, our dear neighbor Matt, who has been part of our community for 15 years, lost everything in a tragic house fire. In a matter of minutes, flames consumed his home, leaving behind nothing but ashes and heartbreak. He escaped with his life, but all of his belongings—his clothes, cherished memories, and the place he called home—are gone.

While insurance will cover the cost of rebuilding his home, it does not cover any of his personal belongings. That means Matt is left with nothing—no furniture, no clothing, no essentials to start over.

Matt has always been the kind of person who helps others, whether it’s taking out the trash for a neighbor, doing yard work, or sharing a warm meal with someone in need. Now, he needs our help.

Rebuilding from nothing is an overwhelming challenge, but together, we can make a difference. Every dollar donated will go directly toward helping Matt replace essential items, find temporary shelter, and start the long journey of rebuilding.
