Hi. My name is Angel Duplichan Courville. I am trying to raise $6000 to purchase the Bioness L300 Go Foot Drop System to help Matt Duplichan to walk again and to improve his Quality-of-Life. He has Multiple Sclerosis and is 35 years old.

GOAL:
To raise $6000 to purchase the Bioness L300 Go Foot Drop System to help Matt to walk again.
Matt was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2013. This has led to fatigue, balance issues, tremors, muscle weakness, numbness, incoordination, and other issues with his health/day-to-day living. One of these issues has been a change in mobility. He is no longer able to walk normally. He has difficulty walking because he has left foot drop as a result of the MS. (He now uses a wheelchair for mobility.) Foot drop is a condition where the muscles in the foot are too weak to lift the foot and toes while walking. The L300 Go System offers a variety of proven advantages to help people with foot drop. (A Physicians’ order is required for the device.)
The system uses Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) to stimulate the nerves in the lower leg, activating muscles to lift the foot and strengthens these muscles so the person can walk more normally. It also helps to prevent muscle loss (atrophy), increases blood flow to muscles, and helps to reduce falls. The myBioness mobile app allows a person to set goals and monitor gains/progress. Matt participated in a trial and was able to walk normally using this device!!
Please help my nephew, Matt, obtain the Bioness L300 Go System. It would make a very big improvement in his Quality-of-life!
