Help Matt Open Matty's TCG & Collectibles

Hi, my name is Matt Verburgt. I am the head of a family of six. We live in the Old Town, Maine area.

I have been a carpenter by trade for the past 20+ years. While this has been a wonderful experience, it has also put a lot of wear and tear on my body. I am looking to change careers and open a TCG/sports card store.

I am currently seeking a place to rent in the Orono/Old Town, Maine region. Once I have a store front, I will be able to finish setting up my LLC.

Here's where you come in!

I am asking for assistance in securing the start up costs for the store and in obtaining basic materials such as display cases, additional product, a point of sale system, a sign for the store front, as well as tables and chairs among other things.

Matty's TCG & Collectibles will offer a warm, inviting environment where kids, and kids at heart, can sit and trade cards and stories for a while and rid themselves of the cares of the outside world. Plus, you never know what can happen. Fun Fact: I actually met my wife in a card shop! I am somewhat more of a Pokemon enthusiast and expert than a businessman. My goal is not to upsell or overcharge you. Honestly, I much prefer seeing the joy in a child's eyes when I can help them find the long sought after chase card that they need to complete their master set.
