Hello, I'm Lisa Millner. I'm fundraising for my son Matthew Millner, 32. He took a nasty fall at home last week and has a broken femur. Given that he is 6'6", that is a pretty horrific injury to a long bone. He has health insurance, but will be non (none) weigh bearing for 6 to 8 weeks. Then physical therapy. Meaning he will be unable to perform his job for a many weeks. His job requires lifting, manufacturing and installing specially intricate custom cabinetry.

He is the sole provider to 3 pets. Heidi and Hans are his beloved dachshunds and Mr. Harris the cat, is amazing.

As most of us are living paycheck to paycheck, his ability to pay just the basics ie mortgage, utilities, groceries, property taxes are suddenly dirupted.

Without your help at this time, we have no idea where or how to even start working on these pressing issues.

Matthew has always been a care-giver to his friends and loved ones. To find himself in a position where he is unable to care for himself is very hard for him. He's the first one to offer, if a friend needs to move, or a ride to or from work or just good company or some extra dog food.

Please find it in your hearts to give what you can. I know times are tough for all right now.

Your donations will help to determine if he is able to continue to live in his home once belonging to his beloved grandparents. To eat, feed his animals and just keep the lights on and the heat on.
