We are raising funds for Matt Lewis and family. Matt was hit while riding his motorcycle on May 1st. This accident caused internal bleeding from his intestine, blood clot on his aorta, broken ribs, hip, pelvis, knee and crushed shin. Matt's been through multiple surgeries, ICU, hospital moves, rehab, and setbacks with his hip coming back out of place twice.

After 3 months in hospitals, Matt was able to come home August 1st. As of now in September, he still has a long way for recovery and many more hospital visits to go. There are many uncertainties still with his aorta clot, shin bone healing and possible hip replacement. He can shuffle around with his walker, but still needs help and rest.

Beth has been by Matt's side throughout this life changing event and recovery. She has taken leave from work to stay by his side. Matt has been a hard working laborer for the last 25 years and his future with this work is uncertain.
