I am making this with hopes to help Matt (Steven Matthew Glisson) , Laura, and their son JD rebuild some of what they have lost.

Saturday morning (7/5), they escaped their home and went through dangerous flood waters to make it to another family member's home on the ranch they live on. Leaving behind everything they owned, they watched as the current pulled away both vehicles and also filled Laura’s childhood home they lived in. It is truly a miracle that even with that strong current and large objects rushing them, Matt was able to get his family to safety. Thank you, God, for having your hand on them.

Once the flood waters went down, it became clear that they have lost everything. Not including what was in the house, Matt's car had his wallet and music equipment that he used for supplemental income playing at various churches.

It will likely be a while before power is restored as recovery efforts are still underway. Our hearts go out to others in the surrounding areas that not only lost possessions but have also lost their loved ones.

Matt just accepted a job with a church in Dallas that is set to start in August. That was already a big move for their family, but now an even greater challenge with losing everything.

Our goal is that we can support them in rebuilding their life and anything they may need to rebuy. Please give what you can and if you are not able, just pray for God's hand to stay on them and guide them through this phase of their life.
