Our hearts are completely broken as we share that my sister Haley and her boyfriend Matt lost their home in a devastating fire on April 25th. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was gone, and most heartbreaking of all, they lost their sweet dog, Harley, in the tragedy. They are now faced with the unimaginable task of starting over from nothing—clothes, personal belongings, and cherished memories have all been lost. No one is ever prepared for something like this, and right now they need all the love and support they can get.
Matt is a Lieutenant with the Clinton Police Department and has dedicated over 20 years to serving and protecting our community. Haley works in Administration at Grants Ferry Family Dentistry, where she is known for her kindness and compassion. Both are incredibly selfless people who have always put others first. Their dog, Harley, was a high-energy, cuddly companion who brought so much joy to their lives. Losing her has left an even bigger hole in their hearts.
The funds raised will help Matt and Haley with everything as they begin to rebuild—finding a place to stay, replacing essentials, and taking the first steps toward healing. We’ve created this GoFundMe to support them during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this post to help us reach others. Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support.
