This isn’t easy for me to write, but I could really use some support right now. Recently, the power steering on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica failed. The first repair quote I received was $6,500, which is far more than I could reasonably manage and more than makes sense to continue investing into a vehicle that has already required constant repairs. I took the van to a second mechanic for another opinion. They repaired what they believed was the issue, and after paying a significant amount, I drove away hopeful. Unfortunately, less than an hour later, the power steering locked up again. The problem wasn’t fixed. I am also still paying off this van — I don’t yet own it — which makes this situation even harder. For the last five years, this vehicle has been one issue after another. I’ve done my best to keep up, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t continue sinking money into a vehicle that still isn’t reliable.
I’m trying to raise funds to help pay off the van and move into a dependable “new-to-me” car so I can continue working and taking care of my responsibilities without constant worry about my transportation. Having reliable transportation is essential for me to support myself and keep up with daily life. Anything you’re able to give would be truly appreciated. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to give.
