If you know Matt, you know he’s the kind of person who always shows up for others. He works tirelessly, loves his family deeply, and rarely asks for help unless it’s absolutely necessary. Right now, he truly needs our support.
In 2019, Matt underwent spinal surgery to remove a tumor. During this procedure, doctors also identified a significant disc herniation at L5-S1. Although it wasn’t critical at the time and was monitored, everything changed by the end of December 2025.
Matt began experiencing severe sciatica, which quickly escalated into intense nerve pain radiating from his lower back through his glute, down his calf, and into his foot. Some days, he struggles to walk normally. Other days, he can’t sit, and many nights, sleep eludes him due to the overwhelming pain.
When Matt started losing strength in his foot and toes, surgery became medically necessary rather than optional. The pain became so unbearable that he required ambulance transport on multiple occasions and frequent trips to the ER. While insurance should cover most of the surgery, it will not fully cover the ambulance rides, ER bills, deductibles, or the rehabilitation he will need afterward.
Matt is fully self-employed, running Matt Eul Media single-handedly. If he can’t film, carry equipment, or endure long production days, there is no income. He has already been unable to work consistently for months, and recovery from surgery will take at least another 6–8 weeks before he can safely return.
Beyond the financial strain, there’s a deeply personal and heartbreaking aspect to this situation. Matt is a single-income father to a two-year-old. Due to being bedridden at times, he hasn’t been able to properly care for her, and she has been staying with her mom. Losing precious time with his little girl has been one of the hardest parts emotionally.
We are reaching out for help to ease the burden of:
• Emergency medical and ambulance bills
• Insurance deductibles
• Rehabilitation and recovery costs
• Lost income while he is unable to work
• Basic living expenses so he can focus on healing and getting back to his daughter
If you’re able to donate, share, or send encouragement, it would mean the world. Every bit helps Matt move closer to recovery and back to doing what he loves — being a dad and creating for others.
Thank you for supporting him during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️
