Matt Ferguson, a husband and father of two boys, was diagnosed with Stage III squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx, originating on his tonsil and spreading to lymph nodes. One lymph node tumor grew rapidly so treatment was started immediately. He is undergoing seven weeks of daily radiation treatment as well as receiving weekly chemotherapy during this same time. Family, friends, and volunteers are helping with meals for his family and transportation to treatment when possible. However, medical costs are mounting and the out-of-pocket expenses are significant.

All funds raised here will be directly accessible by Matt and used to help with the increasing medical costs and expenses the family is encountering. Due to Matt having to take short-term disability leave from work he will also have a reduced income until he fully recovers.
