Our good friend—and beloved grow partner—Matt Brogan suffered a stroke last Thursday and has been in the hospital since. We are so thankful he got help in time and is stable, but as many of you know, the road to recovery is long—and expensive.

Matt doesn’t have health insurance. That means every hospital visit, every test, every treatment comes with a huge price tag. And while Matt is focused on healing, we’re trying to help carry the weight of what comes next.

The stroke itself was serious, but what’s even more concerning now is that doctors discovered atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that likely caused the stroke. Managing this will be a long-term challenge and will require ongoing care, medications, monitoring, and possibly procedures down the line. It’s not just about bouncing back—it’s about a complete lifestyle shift to keep his heart stable and prevent another stroke.
