Matt and Audrey have called Whitefield home for years, but the past few years have been especially challenging. They have called a camper home for the last four years; working hard to make ends meet and pursuing their dreams.
On December 4th, Matt and Audrey’s world was shattered in a single moment. A massive tree, torn loose by violent winds, crashed down onto their home — splitting it in half and destroying nearly everything they owned. One moment they were preparing for the holidays and planning their 2026 wedding… the next, they were standing outside in the cold, watching the place they built their life in collapse before their eyes.
By nothing short of a Christmas miracle, every person and every beloved pet survived. Their tiny fur baby Scruff was swept away in the chaos and disappeared for days, leaving the family heartbroken and searching. When he was finally found — scared, cold, and exhausted — it felt like hope had been handed back to them.
But the truth is: They are starting from nothing. Their home is unlivable. Their belongings are gone. Their sense of safety has been shaken in ways that words barely capture.
And yet…
This is where community becomes everything. In moments like these, the kindness of others is not just helpful — it is life changing. Every donation, every share, every prayer is a reminder that they are not facing this nightmare alone.
All funds raised will go directly toward helping Matt and Audrey rebuild the pieces of their life: clothing, food, temporary housing, medications, toiletries, and the basic household items most of us take for granted until they’re suddenly gone.

Let’s share a Christmas miracle with this family and show them compassion, caring and kindness and that communities can pull together to make a difference. Thank you for your help!
