Help Matt as he recovers

The past few months have been difficult for our brother Matt, who has been out of work since suffering a workplace injury last summer. He was already struggling financially when he was in a multi-car accident just before Christmas that led to several unexplained health problems and ended with him hospitalized with acute pancreatitis and multiple organ failure in mid-January.

As I write this, Matt has been transferred to the ICU at a larger California hospital where he is stable but still is intubated and on dialysis. The doctors have told us his recovery from such a severe illness is going to take at least a couple of months and will require rehab.

To take some of the worry away from Matt, our goal here is to raise money for his bills, including back rent and keeping the lights on so he has his home to return to when he gets out of rehab. Any donation will go to helping him get back on his feet after such a difficult stretch.
