Help Matt and Michele Fix Their Only Vehicle

- My name is Karen Emerson. I have some dear friends who are in dire straits and need immediate monetary assistance for a situation that has occurred. Matt and Michele Shock have one vehicle for their extended family of 9. Matt is 100% disabled and receives minimal Social Security benefits. These benefits go directly toward the mortgage payments for their home. Matt is also currently awaiting Medicare benefits which takes time. Since Matt has been unemployed for many years due to his disabilities the task of employment fell upon his wife, Michele. She was gainfully employed by Door Dash, working as many hours as possible to make ends meet. Until the fateful day when the transmission on their only mode of transportation, exploded, leaving them with no transportation whatsoever. Which resulted in Michele being suddenly unemployed and Matt unable to travel to his once weekly therapy appointment or his multitude of doctors appointments. The vehicle is a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. Matt and Michele have 3 tender age children currently living in their home, ages 9, 7 and 6, that are presently attending school a mile from their home. Which is however, outside the boundry for the school bus retrieval. Forcing them to walk the mile to their school. Michele and other family members now have to walk the children to school, walk the mile back home and then return in the afternoon to get her children and walk with them the mile back home once again. This is quite taxing on Michele as she herself has health problems. Needless to say the weather in Florida this time of year can be quite treacherous along with the traffic within that mile. With all of the doctor appointments that Matt has or any emergency that may arise or even a trip to a store or pharmacy is impossible. There is no immediate additional income that would allow them funds for any alternate transportation. The family has dedicated their lives to helping others by opening their doors and hearts to those in need. They would never ask for assistance. Therefore, I would like to try and help them, with your help. I would humbly like to ask for your donation at this time to help this loving, caring family in their time of need. I thank you in advance for any amount of money that you can donate. I am also asking for your prayers for Matt, Michele and their family. God bless each and every one of you for your kindness. Our goal is to raise enough money for repairs on the transmission and any other problems that have arisen due to this unfortunate incident. If the car cannot be repaired then a possible down payment on another vehicle to replace the one not in service at this time. Thank you!
