In loving Memory of Matt; Support Matt’s loved one

On March 6th, 2025 Matt passed away. He was surrounded by his loved ones and will be severely missed. Please donate to support his partner Mario during this unimaginable time.

Hi, my name is Grace, and I am fundraising for Matthew and Mario.

On March 2nd, 2025, while enjoying his morning coffee with his partner Mario, Matt unexpectedly had a massive status seizure, which ultimately led to a cardiac event. Mario called 911 and performed CPR until the first responders arrived. Matt arrived at Nelson Hospital, where he was stabilized before being sent to Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail to the ICU. Matt is to be transferred to Kelowna Neurology by March 4th and has a long road ahead of him. Mario and Matt require funds for medical costs, loss of work, and to support Mario with being able to be in Kelowna with Matt to support him. These funds will be used for transport to and from Kelowna as needed, hotel costs, and wages during Matt and Mario's loss of work.
