My son, Matt Miller, and his girlfriend, Kayla Gerardy, had a devastating fire yesterday in which Matt’s auto repair shop burned completely. The shop and the contents are a total loss. Firemen estimate the loss at $150,000. The shop had been Matt’s dream for a very long time and he worked hard, and continues to work hard, to build it up. It’s his major source of income. The shop wasn't able to be insured (old building) so they don't know if any insurance coverage whatsoever will cover anything. They’re looking into seeing if homeowner’s insurance will cover something. Lots of dollars worth of tools, equipment/machines, etc.were in it to make it a working auto repair shop. I'm asking for prayers and any financial support possible for them as they try to get through this. This is a hard financial blow for them. Matt and Kayla are always there to lend a hand to others in need, Now, they are the ones in need. This picture shows some of the shop. All of it is gone.
