Matt was having pain in his belly area the past three months. It got so bad after NYE, he went to an urgent ER who then transferred him to a hospital with full staff and equipment to figure out what was causing him intolerable pain. He was scheduled for a colonoscopy and it didn’t go well. Fast forward to find a couple masses causing total obstruction to his bowels. He had surgery in order to remove the masses that were then sent to biopsy, and we waited more than a week for results. We prayed in his ICU room, as the snow fell outside that hospital, that these masses would not be malignant.

My older brother Matt has always been kind, patient, extremely intelligent, and always put everyone else’s needs and happiness before his own. He’s had many tough breaks a lot of his life, but he’s always made it through. You see, he laughs about everything, the good and even more so, with the bad.

What is happening now we can’t laugh at. Cancer is here for another one of my mommy’s children, it’s another aggressive cancer. Colorectal Cancer aka Colon Cancer. STAGE 4. We are ready to help him fight it back. Matt doesn’t know it yet, but he’s about to be another of God’s warriors.

At this time we are asking for donations to help Matt, his wife Brooke, and his little family to cover the costs of medical care, food, and bills.
