Help Matt and his 2 boys after house fire.
Donation protected
On the night of July 7th, one of our HVAC technicians, Matt, was out on a call around 9 PM helping a customer that was without air conditioning. He received a call from his brother to get home because his house was on fire. Matt, being the person he is, fixed the air conditioner and then rushed home. The street was blocked, so he had to park down the street. Once he was let past the tape, he found the entire house, including his belongings, had been lost. The Red Cross did help him with toothbrushes, soap, and other necessities. They also gave him a $600 gift card for immediate needs. All he had was the work clothes he was wearing.
Matt is a single father of 2 boys, 4 and 7. The kids lost their beds, clothes, toys, and their home. Matt did have renter's insurance, but we are not certain how much that will help. Matt and the boys have a long road ahead of them as they have been displaced.
Matt is an exceptional employee and will miss some work to figure all of this out. Anything would help, even sharing this post.
