Well, this was all extremely unexpected. I am Keslie, or Zombettie to a lot of you and Matt a lot of you know as Grit. On August 1st, 2 days after Matt's 50th birthday, we took him to the hospital for some concerning symptoms, weight loss, some confusion, but we had attributed it to Long COVID. We were wrong.

We don't have all the information, I will update as I have more, but right now we know it's stage 4 lung cancer that has metastisized to his brain and bones. Y'all know how much he loves Deadpool, now he shares a cancer with him.

So far they have put in a drain to drain fluid from around his heart. This has been very successful and he's feeling better than he has in a long while.

Next step is the lung biopsy tomorrow (Monday). After we get the results from that we can form a plan.

They also will be removing the tumors that were found on his brain, but that might be done as an outpatient, we have to see.

Everything is completely up in the air and we are still trying to take care of everything with the kids while I'm running back and forth. I'm just a few days we have blown through almost all our resources. We are asking for any donations to go towards getting me back and forth so I can continue to take care of the kids and just general food until disability comes in.
