Hi everyone, my name is Jorge and my wife is Alejandra and I’m asking for help for our beloved dog, Matilda. Matilda is not just a pet to us — she is family. We adopted her and she has been part of our lives through so many important moments, bringing love, comfort, and joy every day.

A few days ago, Matilda became suddenly very sick. What first seemed like a severe gastrointestinal issue quickly turned into something much more serious. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, and her condition worsened unexpectedly. She is now hospitalized and receiving intensive veterinary care. The veterinary team is monitoring serious complications and told us the next 24 hours are critical. We are doing everything we can to give her a chance to recover.

The emotional part has been incredibly hard, but the financial side has also become overwhelming. Veterinary emergency care, hospitalization, testing, medications, monitoring, and possible additional treatments are costs we were not prepared for. We never imagined needing to ask for help, but right now we want to focus on giving Matilda every possible opportunity.
