Help Matilda Fight Mammary Carcinoma

Hello, my name is Ira. Nine years ago, I took myself to the Fort Collins Humane Society and found my best friend in feline form. Matilda has been a constant confidant for me, always by my side through the highs and lows of six moves, 118 days (and counting) of sobriety of alcohol, countless horror movie nights, and every other moment in between. One week ago, our future together changed. Matilda was diagnosed with mammary carcinoma. I am trying to raise money to help with not only a radicalized surgery to remove the mammary tissue from her left side to help diagnose the stage of her cancer, as well as for her treatment plan. If the cancer is localized, she is expected to live one to two more years; in the chance her cancer has spread, we would have less time together. Matilds enjoys the simple things in life: ice cream, wet food, playing with her cat sister, and meowing at the top of her lungs. This cat is my soul pet and I would give anything to hit a decade with her. No amount of time can ever be enough when it comes to pets.
