Help Matia move across the country for Medical School!

Hi, my name is Matia, and I’m excited to share that I’ve officially been accepted to medical school!

Becoming a doctor has been my lifelong dream, and now I’m finally taking that first big step. But as exciting as this journey is, it also comes with many challenges—especially financial ones.

I’ll be moving across the country to pursue my education, which means facing high relocation costs, setting up a new home, and adjusting to life in a brand-new city—all while preparing for the demanding years ahead. My husband and I will also be navigating long distance, resulting in double the living expenses as we maintain two households.

To add to this, I recently lost my father. His passing deeply affected our family, both emotionally and financially. We’ve faced significant hardships over the past year, and it’s been a reminder of how important community support truly is.

As I transition into medical school full time, I won’t be working, and for the first time in a long while, I have to ask for help.
