During this difficult time, we would like to come together and support Mathieu and his family. We are collecting donations to assist with travel expenses and to provide some comfort to the family as they navigate this challenging period.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to reach out to everyone with a big ask. Our brother Mathieu recently lost his brother. He is trying to make arrangements to get back home to Canada to help his Mom and family through this trying time. Unfortunately, he does not have enough PTO to take a significant enough amount of time to both process and be home for his family. He also does not yet qualify for Washington State FMLA, so I write you to ask if you could find it in your hearts to donate some of your hard-earned PTO to Mathieu. I know full well the importance of taking enough time off from this place after a traumatic event such as a death in the family, so please if you can send him a few hours, every little bit helps. Dear Team,

I wanted to share something personal with you all. Since the passing of my brother on December 27th, I’ve been experiencing a lot of emotions. I truly appreciate the support and understanding from everyone during this difficult time.

I will be taking some time off as soon as I receive details from my mother regarding the funeral arrangements. Thank you for your patience and for being such an incredible team—I’m grateful for each of you.
