Hi, my name is Holly and I am reaching out on behalf of my daughter and beloved grandson, Mathias, and the rest of our family.

Mathias is just 10 years old. He is a sweet, thoughtful, and loving child who brings so much joy to everyone who knows him. Right now, our world has been turned upside down—Mathias is at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, very sick, while doctors run countless tests and exams to find out what’s wrong. The possibility of lymphoma has been mentioned, and our family is devastated and scared.

Mathias’s mom is a single mother of three. She is the best mom I know—her children are her whole world. She refuses to leave Mathias’s side, which means she cannot work right now. I am caring for her other two children at home, but the financial burden is becoming overwhelming.

We are asking for help to cover:

- Medical bills and treatment costs

- Living expenses and rent

- Food and essentials for Mathias’s mom while she stays at the hospital

- Support for the family at home
