Help Matthew Newlin (Dook) Fight Cancer

Donation protected

If anyone can help out and share some love, my cousin is battling some major health issues. Even more intense for him and family with Covid-19.

For any people that have been on the Worimi Murrook Centre Sand Dune Tours, Matt is a Tour Guide. Here's the Go Fund Me Link to help him & his family
Help Mathew (Dook) and his family as he fights stage 4 cancer. This GoFund me … Robin Thorpe needs your support for Help Matthew Newlin (Dook) Fight Cancer

At this time the 8th April Matt is at home and is fighting a infection that has to
be cleared before he can start Chemo. Hopefully this will be by the end of April

This GoFund me campaign is to raise money for Matthew (Dook) Newlin and his family.  Matthew who at the age of  41 is fighting  Stage 4 Cancer and in the last month had a huge operation at  RPA hospital in  Sydney spending 15 days there, 8 of those days in intensive care before he could go home.  Due to complications, he is now back in John Hunter Hospital where he has had another operation and has another scheduled for Monday.

I don't think any of us can imagine what Matt has been through and is going through unless we had been in the same situation.
Matthew is fighting hard and the Physiotherapists at RPA were impressed with how hard he worked at getting on the move again.

Matthew has grown up and spent his entire life in and around Tea Gardens on the Mid North Coast of NSW where he is much loved and respected.
Dook, as he is known to the locals, has always been on hand to help people out. His partner Racheal and their three young Daughters  Delilah, Elle, and  Gracie are now living back in Bulahdelah near her family and are driving up and down to John Hunter Hospital In Newcastle to visit Matthew.
Matthew is unable to work in the near future and is about to start months of chemo.

Matt is a much-loved employee of his local land council Murrook at Port Stephens,  where he worked the Worimi Quad Bike Sand Dune Adventures
until becoming ill and then he has been working at the Land Council doing repairs etc.

This Go Fund Me campaign is set up by members of Matthews's extended family (his cousin Robin and my family). While we all feel helpless in
situations like this, taking away some of this added pressure is a small way we can help them.  So if you are able to help with a
donation, big or small, or have a family member or friend who would like to help our
beautiful friends and relatives, please do so here. Every cent raised will go directly to Matthew.
