Help Mateo's Family with Funeral Costs

Donation protected
On early Wednesday morning, Nov 12th, I held my mom’s hand as she took her final breaths. My mom had all three of her children by her side.

In 2023 we had a cancer diagnosis and took immediate action involving surgery and starting chemotherapy. Although my mom was able to ring the bell late ‘23, the cancer returned in the turn of the year, in 2024. Since then we’ve continued therapy.

I, Mateo, her youngest of the three, was her primary caregiver. I took care of her and did just about everything for her when needed. Through this entire time, I’ve never seen a woman so vulnerable, yet so strong. She was a hard working woman her entire life. I just had hoped she would’ve lived long into her older years to see her grandkids grow up.

In October ‘25, we were told news that we had 6 months left. (Some hope to still create memories with her) Just late last week, after some complications after another, we landed back in the ER. Days following, we lost her ability to communicate with us, and from 5 months left, we were told that she wouldn’t make the night.

Everything’s happening too quickly; my sisters and I are now doing her funeral arrangements. Although we do have some funds raised, our family is asking and hoping for help to raise the rest of the necessary funds for the costs of the cremation and funeral services.

I just lost my mom, my best friend, the one who always greeted me when I got home. I’m just simply at a loss for words.

We appreciate and send our gratitude for anything donated; even if it’s a share. Anything helps us.

with love,
Mateo
