Help Mateo get to the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship

Hi, I’m Mateo Christodulu, I'm 16 years old and I have been selected to represent Team Greece in the Under 16’s and Under 18´s divisions at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in El Salvador in May 2024.

In 2022 I had the honor to be the first, and until now the only, junior to represent Greece in an ISA (International Surfing Association) championship. It is always an honor for me to compete at this level doing something that I am so passionate about, and I'm so proud to have been given this opportunity again (for the third time in a row). Last year in Brazil I had the chance to improve Greece´s position up 8 spots in the countries ranking being a 1 athlete team vs full 12 athlete´s teams. My goal this year is to improve last year's outcome.

Surfing is not only my sport, but also my greatest passion and I work hard every day to be the best I can be.

My dream is to motivate more kids so sometime soon we can become a full-size team. And why not, maybe someday get all the way to the Olympics.

These trips are entirely self-funded and come at an expense that my family can no longer fully cover and therefore I would really appreciate it if I could have your contribution to make this happen.

Funds will be used for training before and during competition, flights, accommodation, equipment required, coaching and living expenses while in El Salvador from May 1 to May 13.
