I am Varun, Uncle of Master Ayaan Malegama who is just 6 months has been suffering from stomach pain since 7th June. We have consulted happy children's hospital twice with in the period & Doctor suggested to give Colic aid & antibiotics which has cured the pain. But, unfortunately on 15th June 2020, Ayaan was continuosly crying. After giving the antibiotics his pain was relieved but observed his stomach was very tight at 8pm & ayaan has not pissed neither poo over night. We contacted hospital & went to hospital again on 16th June early morning 7 am. Dr. Pradeep has checked & referred for Ultra sound test.  




In the test, we found that Kidneys, Liver & spleen has been enlarged. Dr referred to Little star hospital Punjagutta. There Dr. Ramana, Dr. Avinash has taken blood test. Then understood Leukemia has been detected with 5.6 lakhs WBC count and Heamoglobin count 8. We have immediately admitted in the hospital & started the treatment. 




LP, Bone marrow test has been taken & Found all of them are cancer positive.




Acute Infant lymphoblastic leukemia identified with high risk protocol.

 

Forthwith chemotherapy has started on 17th June and till date treatment is going on. 




As my brother in laws insurance is 2 lakhs only. So far I they used it & continuing. Requesting donations from external sources for his continuing treatment. After discussion with Doctor, understood that we might need to spend around 40 lakhs for complete treatment. 

Cheamos, Lps, BM treatments. Bone marrow transplantation needs to be done. Expecting positive results yet.
