Help Mason Study Marine Biology Abroad

 

Before I start I want to thank all those who've supported me in the past, and to those I don't know who have taken the time out of their day to read this message. My name is Mason Bunton, and I'm currently a junior in high school. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help cover the cost of tuition and travel expenses for a two and a half-week marine biology program in June. The program is run by Broadreach, whose goal is to bring teenagers like myself on unforgettable scuba diving and sailing voyages to learn about marine life and ecosystems and other topics related to climate change and sea life. What I'm most excited about in attending this program is the opportunity to do hands-on research with marine biologists in an effort to assist with marine conservation. As a PADI certified scuba diver, I want to put my love for the ocean towards protecting it. My hope in attending this program is also to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in biology that will be beneficial in both college and in a potential career path.
