Hello! My name is Mason Richards. I'm 18 years old, and I plan to get my associate's in Music Performance and my bachelor's in Broadcast Communications.

Ever since high school, I've been quite interested in marching bands and performing arts as a whole. So after discovering drum corps, I wanted to dedicate a whole summer to one right away! After hours of research and going down multiple rabbit holes of information, I set my mind on the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps.

Many, many hours of practice and a few audition camps later, I was officially selected for a spot in the Crossmen hornline! Specifically, the mellophone line. This spot is not only an invitation to unforgettable experiences and fun memories with an amazing group of fellow musicians, but is also a commitment to higher learning in both musical ability and marching technique, teamwork as well as independence, leadership, discipline, time management, problem-solving, and many more very essential skills that will benefit me for the rest of my life. Still, food, uniforms, toiletries, living on a bus for a summer, and many more vital parts of the tour are not cheap, and so every single donation, big or small, will help contribute to this dream that will benefit me for years to come!
