My name is Mason Hirsh and I need to raise $3,000!!  After attending an all day workshop and auditioning as a mallet player, I have been offered a spot playing the Xylophone this summer for Bakersfield College's Golden Empire Drum & Bugle Corps!  Since the program is two hours away, I will take the train there and back for the next three weekends to begin practicing.  In the beginning of June I will move in with family so that I can grind through a vigorous month of practicing six days a week. Then, in July I will tour around California performing and competing with my team.  This program will help me follow my dream of making a career out of what I love; making music!  The first payment of $1,000 is due by the end of May and I need to raise an additional $2,000 to cover the second payment plus required supplies for the program, transportation, and living expenses.  Please help me make this rare opportunity a reality and donate!  Any amount helps!  THANK YOU!!
