Hello! We are raising money to help with our son Masons medical bills. Unfortunately his medical insurance is not going to help pay for this medical bill so we are going to have to pay out of pocket. You may be wondering what bill it might be right? Mason is needing a DOC Band treatment to help fix the flatten portion of his head on his right side. When he was evaluated it was determined by his doctor that his cranial vault asymmetry index is a 14.2 which anything above a 8.75 is classified as a severe deformity. We have tried everything possible to try to help fix this problem without having to resort to getting the DOC Band treatment but unfortunately nothing has worked. If this goes untreated it will not only affect the shape of his head but it will also cause the right side of his face to not be aligned with his left. This is our last option to help fix his head shape. Once he is able to get his band then he will have to wear it 23 hours of the day to fix it. Below you will see pictures of his report from his doctor on his head shape. Although we are working really hard as a family to get the money together to get the money he needs for his band, we are struggling especially with all our bills and raising his two sisters. To be able to get Mason the treatment he needs we need to reach the goal of at least $2,000.
