Help Mason Breathe Easier ❤️

Our sweet 2-year-old son, Mason, has been fighting a battle with his airway since the very beginning of his life.

Mason was born with pyriform aperture stenosis, a condition that has made breathing difficult for him. Since he was just 52 days old, Mason has been in and out of Children’s Hospital receiving care and undergoing procedures to help him breathe better.

Unfortunately, his airway problems have continued to get worse over time. He is now facing another major round of procedures, including a nasal dilation, drug-induced sleep endoscopy, extracapsular tonsillectomy, and adenoidectomy because his airway is becoming dangerously restricted. While he sleeps, Mason currently needs an oxygen concentrator to help him breathe.

Watching your child struggle to breathe is something no parent should ever have to experience. We would do absolutely anything to take this away from him and give him the chance to simply be a happy, healthy little boy.

Mason has already been through multiple surgeries and more medical appointments and hospital visits than any child should have to experience. Yet through all of it, he remains one of the sweetest and most loving little boys you could ever meet.

Mason absolutely loves hot rods, playing games with Dad, making his Hot Wheels “crash,” and helping us cook meals. His personality is truly out of this world, and anyone who meets him quickly falls in love with him.

With his upcoming surgery and continued medical care, our family is facing medical bills, travel expenses, and time away from work. We are currently struggling financially because caring for Mason and being there for his surgeries means missing work and putting our normal responsibilities on hold.

We are starting this fundraiser to help take some of that financial pressure off our family so that we can focus on what matters most — being there for Mason and helping him get through this.

Any money raised will go toward the additional expenses surrounding his medical care, including travel to and from Children’s Hospital, medical expenses, other necessities, and helping cover the income we lose while caring for him.
