Help Mason Beat Cancer!

Last week Mason received the dreaded diagnosis of Cancer. For those of you who don’t know Mase, he is my favorite brother in law, Shane and Jessica's brother, a loving husband to Shannon, our kiddos uncle, the son of Linda and Marvin and an amazing friend to many. Mason is only 30 years old with a full life ahead of him. He recently married his true love Shannon Sherman. They were ready to get their life started as a young married couple and have been blindsided by this diagnosis.
Mason has a Germ Cell tumor in between his lungs that is cancerous. The tumor is known as a Yolk Sack Tumor and the Prognosis is not great. Currently we know there is a tumor in between his lungs and more scans will be done this week to determine if the cancer is in any other areas. Mason will start four rounds of Chemotherapy on Monday April 22nd. Mason will BEAT this! But it will be a long hard road. People are asking how they can help and what they can do. First, we ask that you pray, send love, good vibes, whatever you do in a time of need. Mason, Shannon and our family will need this as we navigate this very scary diagnosis.
The treatment Mason will be receiving is also very expensive so monetary donations are gratefully appreciated. Mason and Shannon will also be spending countless hours at doctor’s offices and in treatment so homemade meals are also appreciated. If you would like to contribute meals please contact myself or Shane to coordinate delivery.
Mason’s love and laughter has touched us all and is contagious!
