Masjid Al-Nur in Mechanicsburg is asking for support to help complete the purchase of its property and make room for a growing congregation.
Established in 2009 in East Gate Plaza with only a few families, Masjid Al-Nur began as a humble space and has grown into a home for a diverse community of Muslim brothers and sisters from many parts of the world. The masjid stands as a symbol of Islamic unity, and that unity is deeply valued and protected by the community it serves.
Today, Masjid Al-Nur provides a full-time imam, daily five-time prayers, Taraweeh prayers, weekend school on Saturdays and Sundays, a Hifz program, and classes by the imam. These services are an important part of daily worship, learning, and community life for many families.
The community has already paid $1.75 million toward the property, but it is still short $750,000 to fully pay it off. These funds will go directly toward completing the property purchase so the masjid can expand. Right now, the current space is too small for the congregation, and the sisters' side especially cannot accommodate more people.
Every donation will help Masjid Al-Nur move closer to securing this property and creating the space the community needs to worship, learn, and grow together. If you are able, please give and share this fundraiser to support the future of Masjid Al-Nur.
