I never imagined I’d be writing this, but I’m reaching out for help for someone who means the world to me—my best friend, Masha.

Masha has spent her life caring for animals as a marine mammal and domestic animal veterinarian. Whether rescuing wildlife, treating sick pets, or working with marine mammals, she has always been the one offering help, healing, and hope. But now, she’s in a fight for her own life.

She has been battling Stage 4 wild type Glioblastoma, an aggressive and devastating brain cancer. She has already gone through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, holding onto hope through every difficult step. But the cancer has continued to progress. Now, her last chance is an experimental trial treatment—one that could give her more time, but at an overwhelming cost.

Masha has exhausted every option, both medically and financially. She has already spent everything she has on previous treatments and is now burdened with medical debt. This trial could be her lifeline, but without financial support, it is out of reach.
