On June 14th of this year, Maryum was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s b-cell lymphoma. This diagnosis has been a huge shock for Maryum and her family. Prior to May 24th she showed no symptoms of cancer. Maryum will undergo an integrative treatment plan here in Orange County in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, this treatment in not covered by Insurance and is completely out of pocket.

This year has been an emotional rollercoaster, with ups and downs for Maryum. Recently, her father unexpectedly passed away and her mother’s Parkinson’s disease is progressing rapidly. Maryum, who is single mom continues to stay positive, grateful, and in high spirits for her journey ahead. She recently graduated with her Nurse Practitioner. She loves and adores her daughter Sabrina (age 4). Spending time with Sabrina and seeing her personality blossom is Maryum’s shining light. Maryum has been incredibly brave and grateful despite the challenges she has faced and will face.

We are starting this go fund me account to help Maryum with the financial burden cancer causes. We want to help minimize her stress and send prayers and love every day especially during those rough days ahead. Please join us in prayer for complete healing, peace, strength and comfort. Maryum is incredibly strong and amazing daughter, mother and friend to all. To anyone who knows Maryum, this is not a surprise since she is one of the kindest, and most thoughtful person.
