We never imagined we would be writing something like this. Our mom passed away on April 9th, and our family is still trying to process the loss. She lived a simple life and was receiving SSI disability, so there weren’t funds set aside for funeral or burial expenses.
Our mom was a firecracker. She lived her life without question, on her own terms, with strength, personality, and a spirit that couldn’t be ignored. If you knew her, you know exactly what we mean. Right now, we’re doing our best to give her a respectful and peaceful goodbye, but the financial side of this has been overwhelming. We are working through county resources and choosing the most affordable options, but there are still costs we need help covering.
We’re reaching out, humbly, to ask for support during this time. Any contribution no matter the amount will go directly toward her cremation and final arrangements. If you’re not in a place to give, sharing this means just as much. Thank you for taking a moment to read this and for any support you can offer. It truly means more than we can put into words. With gratitude, Her Family
