Help Mary’s Cakery Recover from COVID-19

Local businesses are the heart and soul of our communities, and sadly many are facing a crisis in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mary's Cakery and Candy Kitchen has been providing King George and the surrounding areas with delicious candies and baked goods since 1998. Our cheerfully painted building has become somewhat of a local landmark, and the warm, nostalgic atmosphere has put smiles on many a face over the past two decades.

Setting up a GoFundMe isn't something we ever thought we'd need to do, but then again, we also never saw ourselves fighting to keep our doors open while trying to prevent the spread of a global pandemic. The COVID-19 virus has left not just us, but many small businesses around the world scrambling to cover lost income, pay existing bills, look after employees, and more. We have poured our hearts into this business, and are doing everything we can to keep it going, but the reality is, we have taken a huge hit with the many restrictions in place and subsequent drop in business, and could really use some help.

With that said, we love our customers, our staff, and our community, and now, as uncomfortable as it is asking, we're hoping you'll send a little love back our way so that we might continue to "sweeten" your day.
