Help Maryna Rebuild After Fleeing War in Ukraine

Our dear friend Maryna is a brave mother who fled war-torn Ukraine, in March 2022, with her two young children, carrying nothing but a few belongings in their backpacks and the hope of safety.

When Russian forces intensified their attacks, Maryna made the impossible decision to leave her home behind. She walked with her children to the Polish border, facing cold, exhaustion, and uncertainty, all while her husband stayed behind to defend their country on the front lines. Since then, her parents were able to join her and the children and now they all live together in a small apartment that she was lucky to find.

Maryna and her children are now in France, trying to rebuild their lives from scratch in a foreign land. They are safe—but the road ahead is long and filled with challenges. As an immigrant family with limited resources, they need support for housing, food, school supplies, clothing, and emotional healing.

Maryna is now taking classes to become a dental hygienist, in addition to working full time to support her family. Her days are long and exhausting, but she stays positive and is full of hope.

We’re launching this GoFundMe to give Maryna the help she needs to create a stable life for her children while they await the end of the war.
