Hey, it’s me, Tagreed and I’m writing on behalf of myself and Fella. 

How do we know Maryna? We met her while she was living in Dubai and she quickly became our little sister. 

 

My Maryna has safely escaped Ukraine with her one year old daughter Eva. Thanks to her husband’s friend, they have been staying in Warsaw, Poland as they wait for their Visa to make their journey to Toronto, Canada. She has spent over a combined 25 hours travelling by train and bus just to reach Warsaw. Additionally, she has currently taken trains to and from Berlin to do her Biometrics, stayed in a hotel, and more to come. This is all in her journey as she escaped war, left behind her family, and kept her head up caring for her mini travel buddy Eva. She has chosen this path for the safety and security of Eva, to secure her Visa to Canada for a better future.

 

She is unaware of this Gofundme I have set up. Maryna is the most selfless person we have ever met. Knowing the person that she is, Maryna would not approve of or accept help from others. However after so many friends have come forward asking how to help, I have set this up.

 

The money will go to future hotel bookings, various transportation costs such as train tickets, hotel transfers, and flight tickets to Canada, and ultimately any cash left to surprise her in hand on her arrival to Toronto. It will help get her settled in her new country of refuge. There hopefully will be free services that Ontario will provide her upon her arrival, however every little bit will help them, and hopefully bring some comfort during this difficult time.
