**Help Marykay Cannon Fight Cancer**

Hello everyone,

My name is Erica, and I’m reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request to support an incredible woman, my mother, Marykay Cannon.

Marykay is a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and a friend to everyone she meets. Her devotion to her Christian faith and her community has always been evident in everything she does. She radiates positivity and joy and is the first to offer support to anyone in need, whether they are friends, family, or complete strangers. Her heart of gratitude and service has touched countless lives.

Now, Marykay is facing a challenging battle with stage 3 colorectal cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment in Houston, TX, which includes chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery to remove a mass in her colon. Unfortunately, the financial burden of these treatments is significant. Even before beginning her treatment, her medical bills have already reached $25,000.

We are aiming to raise $50,000 to help cover her medical expenses and the potential loss of income as she may not be able to work during her treatment, which is expected to last around 9 months. The funds will go towards:

- **Medical bills and treatments:** Including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.

- **Living expenses:** To cover everyday costs as she focuses on her health and recovery.

- **Travel costs:** For trips to and from the hospital for treatment and consultations.
