Hi everyone, I’m making this go fund me for my long time friend Tiffany, who’s family has been going through a very difficult situation. Her mother, Maryann Rickert, who I also consider to be like a second mom to me, has been diagnosed with what doctors believe to be an aggressive stage 3 ovarian cancer. Maryann is a single mother of four children as well as a grandmother of 5. Anyone who knows Maryann knows how amazing, caring and loving she is. The doctors tried to preform a full hysterectomy but were unable to due to the size of the tumors and areas the cancer spread. The doctors are starting with chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumors. We hope and have faith that the tumors reduce in size and doctors are able to follow through with the surgery. Throughout this time, I have seen my friend struggling to the point where she had to take a leave from work to support Maryann, her chemotherapy treatments and doctor visits. I want to help the family with expenses such as copays, traveling, bills as well as any other miscellaneous expenses. If you know the family personally, you know they are fighting other battles along with this new hard one. Times are tough and together we can relieve some stress for the family. I know that Tiffany and her family appreciates all the prayers, calls, and texts. Together, we will fight this. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support.
