Friends, I’m reaching out as a volunteer to ask for your help for little Maryana. Maryana was born very prematurely—at just 30 weeks—and because of her difficult start, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, specifically spastic diplegia. The main damage affected her legs: due to severe spasticity, it is very difficult for Maryana to move and continue developing like other children her age.

From a very young age, Maryana has been undergoing constant rehabilitation, massages, sessions with specialists, and Vojta therapy. All of this is yielding results, but now the spasticity is preventing her from making further progress. After a recent consultation, a doctor confirmed that Maryana is a good candidate for SPML surgery, which is performed abroad. It is very important to perform this surgery as soon as possible while there is still a high potential for recovery.
